Christmas Gifts for Gardeners #1
Gifts for Gardeners. I love fiscars platinum shears and lopper. Great for rose pruning, tree trimming, hacking back those pigmy palms... :) #1 see below one set of shears I purchased in 2001 and leave them outdoors in rain and weather / they still work!
If you are planning on buying a hose, buy a great one. This 6 ply hose is commercial but never kinks and will last and last. You might also consider a soaker hose (the ones from recycled tires are useful to water). A soaker hose can be attached to this and uses much less water. Soaking also reduces fungus, rust, and mold on plants.
What I love about this hand cream is the silver tube can sit in a shady area of my garden with the clippers outdoors year round. I often forget to put on gloves. Frankly I love a little dirt under my nails, but my hands get dry and need a little love.
Pots - pottery - but unless you know the style they love I suggest you buy a pair. A single pretty pot just feels lonely to me.

Boho Chic Fall
Fall weather outfit that the color is so subtle and icy I just love it
Remember this movie? Her outfits are fabulous. I have seven skirts from Sri Lanka and India that fit narrow across the waist and hips like this. Paired with solid block top and some chunky jewelry oh la la
I can't pull off this short anymore but the baseball hat with loose side ponytail is casual and ready for play this Fall. All it needs is a little cardigan over the shoulders in a preppy throwback- perhaps in grey, same pearl as the buttons or beige hat. This I could wear to my son's Lacrosse games and no feel frumpy- usually I throw off work dress and put on my go -to jeans and his Dana Hills High School Jacket (I'm the stats Mom and I like to wear the school blue but still want to look girly.

Georges Chakra
I would usually say I don't care for the one shoulder dress, but the design of the longer sleeve and the fabric is wonderful. Where would I wear this stunner?

Gaultier to Die For
Jean Paul Gaultier is THE French haute couture and amazing Pret-a-Porter designer. These two pieces for LaPerla are just to ache for. Unfortunately, the prices are so couture sky high, untouchable in my lifestlye today. It's fun to dream about being a sultry princess in these, just relaxing no lounging around the house.
La Perla, the Italian house of amazing lingerie allowed Gaultier to create something fantasy. The craftmanship on the silk is butterfly light on the top piece and the ruffled swirls on the lower one, well dreamy is all I can describe. I looked in South Coast plaza and the La Perla store doesn't have them in yet....
